About Moriah
Moriah Tyler is an independent artist, designer, and creative problem-solver who believes good art should tell a story and live well in the real world. Her work spans murals, illustration, branding, beer labels, and graphic design—often blending hand-drawn textures with bold, thoughtful composition.
Moriah holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Mount St. Mary’s University and is currently pursuing an MFA in Concept Art for Game Development at the Academy of Art University. While she loves the studio, her creative roots are deeply connected to community. She spent five years as the Education & Visual Arts Coordinator at the Carroll County Arts Council, where she curated exhibitions, planned festivals, and helped bring art out of galleries and into everyday spaces.
These days, Moriah serves as the Executive Director of Main Street Hanover, leading efforts to support small businesses, activate public spaces, and create events that bring people together downtown. She also works as the House Artist for Pipe the Side Brewing Company, designing hand-drawn beer labels that give each brew its own visual personality.
Whether she’s designing a mural, a label, or a small but mighty postcard, Moriah approaches every project with curiosity, collaboration, and attention to detail. When she’s not creating, you’ll likely find her hiking, gardening, or gathering inspiration from the natural world—elements that often sneak their way into her work.
